Intelligence Exchange Community Guidelines
Effective Date: July 13, 2026
These Intelligence Exchange Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") supplement Section 17 of the HNH Terms of Use and describe practical rules for participating in the HNH Intelligence Exchange (the "Exchange"). By posting, commenting, or otherwise participating in the Exchange, you agree to these Guidelines. Violations may result in the moderation actions described in Section 6 below and in Section 30 of the Terms of Use. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Use.
1. Who This Applies To
These Guidelines apply to all subscribers and other authorized users who post, comment, react to, or otherwise participate in the Exchange.
2. Our Purpose
The Exchange is a professional peer forum for discussing breaking news, policy and legislation, research, programs, reimbursement, technology, philanthropy, investment, and community health within the Food is Medicine ecosystem. It is intended to facilitate professional dialogue, questions, and experience-sharing among subscribers. It is not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, or clinical advice, and views expressed reflect individual participants, not HNH.
3. Posting Guidelines
- Post in the category or thread most relevant to your topic;
- Be professional and constructive; disagree with ideas, policies, and programs, not with people;
- Cite your sources when making factual claims, and link to supporting material when practical;
- Use accurate, non-misleading titles for discussion threads;
- Respect confidentiality; do not share protected health information, trade secrets, or information you are not authorized to disclose;
- Disclose commercial or financial interests relevant to what you are discussing, as described in Section 5; and
- Keep your profile and professional affiliation accurate and truthful.
4. Prohibited Conduct
The following are examples of conduct that is not permitted on the Exchange. This list illustrates, but does not limit, the restrictions in Section 17.6 of the Terms of Use.
- Harassment or personal attacks, such as insulting another participant's competence or character, or repeated unwanted contact;
- Threats or incitement of harm against any person or organization;
- Discriminatory or hateful content directed at a protected characteristic;
- Defamation, meaning false statements of fact presented as true that harm a person's or organization's reputation;
- Impersonation of another person, company, government official, or HNH staff member;
- Doxxing, meaning sharing another person's private contact information, home address, or other identifying information without consent;
- Deliberate misinformation, meaning knowingly false claims about clinical, scientific, regulatory, or policy matters;
- Spam or repetitive self-promotion unrelated to the discussion at hand;
- Undisclosed paid or sponsored promotion, addressed further in Section 5;
- Coordinated manipulation, such as using multiple accounts or organized groups to artificially amplify a message;
- Posting confidential, privileged, or protected health information; and
- Plagiarism, meaning presenting another person's writing, research, or analysis as your own without attribution.
5. Disclosure of Commercial Interests
If you post about an organization, product, program, study, investment, or policy in which you have a material financial, employment, ownership, advisory, or funding relationship, disclose that relationship in your post. For example: "Disclosure: I am employed by [Company]" or "Disclosure: [Organization] is a client of mine."
Any sponsored or paid content permitted on the Exchange must be clearly labeled "Sponsored" or "Paid Content" consistent with Section 18 of the Terms of Use. HNH may label, restrict, or remove undisclosed promotional content.
6. Moderation Procedures
HNH may, but is not required to, review Exchange Content before or after it is posted. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, and the participant's history, HNH may take any of the following actions, and is not required to proceed through them in sequence:
- Adding a context label or note to content, such as "disputed" or "unverified," rather than removing it outright;
- Removing or restricting specific content;
- Issuing a formal warning to the participant;
- Temporarily restricting a participant's ability to post;
- Permanently removing a participant from the Exchange; and
- Suspending or terminating the participant's HNH account under Section 30 of the Terms of Use.
Egregious violations, such as threats, doxxing, or clearly unlawful content, may result in immediate removal or suspension without a prior warning. Moderation may be performed by HNH staff or by designated moderators, all of whom are expected to apply these Guidelines consistently.
7. Reporting a Concern
Any user may report a post, comment, or profile using the "Report" feature attached to that content, or by emailing exchange@hnhintelligence.com with a link to, or description of, the content and the reason for the report. HNH aims to review non-urgent reports within two business days, and urgent safety-related reports as soon as reasonably possible. Reporters are not identified to the person whose content was reported.
8. Appeals
A participant whose content was removed, or whose posting privileges were restricted, may appeal by emailing exchange@hnhintelligence.com within 14 days of the action, explaining why they believe the action was made in error. HNH will review the appeal and aim to respond within 10 business days. HNH's decision on appeal is final, though HNH may reconsider a decision in light of new information at its discretion.
9. Relationship to the Terms of Use
These Guidelines are part of the "Community Guidelines" referenced in Sections 17 and 32 of the HNH Terms of Use. If these Guidelines conflict with the Terms of Use, the Terms of Use control.
10. Changes to These Guidelines
HNH may revise these Guidelines from time to time. Continued participation in the Exchange after revised Guidelines become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Guidelines.
