This pilot study evaluated the feasibility, safety, and acceptability of a 6-month produce prescription program for food-insecure pediatric and young adult kidney transplant recipients. While the intervention was found to be safe and highly acceptable, the study noted that fruit and vegetable intake did not significantly increase over the course of the program.
